Q.01Why isn't there a self-serve signup?
Toby is invitation-only. We onboard every customer personally, workspace provisioned, handbook indexed, team trained, so the product is useful on day one. The first call also lets us confirm Toby is the right fit before you sign anything.
Q.02How is pricing structured?
Per workspace, billed annually. We don't price per seat for HR users, your entire HR team uses the same workspace. Employee headcount determines plan tier. Annual invoicing via PDF; we accept ACH, wire, or check.
Q.03Can I bring my own model or use private inference?
Enterprise customers run on single-tenant private inference via AWS Bedrock with BYOK encryption. Your prompts and documents never train shared models on any plan, Anthropic's standard agreement excludes training, and a Zero Data Retention addendum is available on request.
Q.04What happens to my data if we cancel?
You retain full export rights for 90 days after cancellation. We delete all customer data 90 days after termination, subject to legal-hold requirements. Audit logs retained for 7 years per regulatory requirements.
Q.05Do you offer non-profit or pilot pricing?
Yes, registered 501(c)(3) non-profits receive 50% off Team plan. We also offer founding-customer pricing for our first six paid workspaces: locked rate for three years in exchange for reference rights.
Q.06What does onboarding look like?
We personally set up your workspace, upload your handbook, configure your HRIS connector, and train your team. A direct Slack Connect channel for the first 90 days. Most customers are running in production within a week of contract signing.
